Almost one year ago this December, one of the most highly anticipated development projects in Spartanburg’s history opened its doors to the public.
It’s been quite a successful year for this landmark hotel, the first AC brand hotel for South Carolina. If you haven’t visited the hotel yet, it’s a must-see, whether you're looking for a weekend getaway or a happy-hour cocktail.
Take one step inside and you’ll experience a luxury hotel that is both warm and inviting, yet sophisticated and intimate. Hodge Floors was honored to be awarded the opportunity to provide custom carpets and flooring throughout the guest room floors of this landmark hotel.
Once you enter, you’ll notice the acclaimed art from the legendary Black Mountain College featured in the lobby and 2nd floor. For this space, marble adorns the floors with custom black-and-white carpet inserts from Milliken. Both make for a strong first impression, but do not detract from the vibrant local art adorning the walls. For additional common areas throughout the hotel, the custom Milliken carpet continues and will stand up to the heavy foot traffic of visitors and guests for decades to come.
The 114 guest rooms and suites were designed with neutral colors and sleek furnishings. Milliken luxury vinyl tile mimics wood flooring to compliment the natural look and feel of each space.
Travel 10 stories up and you’ll emerge onto the elegant rooftop deck that is part of Rick Erwin’s Level 10 restaurant overlooking downtown Spartanburg. This open-air terrace and its stunning view are a must see!
