Flooring Facelift for Clifdale Middle School

Our team at Hodge Floors loves working on school projects. Even though most of our work happens during the summer or outside of school hours, we can’t help but envision the many learners who will pass over these sparkling new floors. So we were thrilled to have the opportunity to work on a recent flooring facelift at the old Clifdale Elementary School as it was being transitioned into a middle school.

(Fun fact: Hodge Floors actually did the carpet for the original Clifdale Elementary School decades ago in 1979!)

For this new flooring renovation for Spartanburg School District 3, we worked with Lynn Wilson and the team at McMillan Pazdan Smith to create eye-catching, modern, durable flooring to fit each unique learning and gathering space. We chose floor tiles that would incorporate clean lines mixed with geometric shapes to create a sense of movement coupled with elements of surprise.

The results are beautiful, refreshed floors that will serve the students at Clifdale Middle School for many years to come. Check out these photos plus a “walking tour” video to see the finished floors for yourself!
