We love working with all of the Spartanburg School Districts. Our team at Hodge Floors has worked on a number of school renovation projects, including the Clifdale Middle School renovation in 2021.
This past summer, 2022, Harper General Contractors led an ambitious task for District 3 Schools: put together a team to renovate several D3 Schools from top to bottom. These schools included Cannons Elementary, Cowpens Elementary and Broome High School.
It all had to be completed in just eight weeks!
For our part, this meant installing a whopping 263,000 square feet of Carpet, LVT, Rubber flooring and base. We knew it would be a herculean job, but our Hodge Floors team was up for the challenge!
The District Three Design
Harper General Contractors led the project, and designer Lynn Wilson of McMillan Pazdan Smith creatively blended each school's colors for the overall design plan. The chosen flooring materials specified had to be durable and able to stand the test of time and play.
Our flooring installation goal was straight forward: Professionally (and quickly) provide and install these vibrant, beautiful floors to elevate the look and feel of Broome High School, Cannons and Cowpens Elementary.
Each project was a school-wide project that spanned hallways, classrooms, media centers and cafeterias, so this was no small task.
Products selected were Shaw, Milliken and Mohawk Carpets. We also used a mixture of Mohawk and Milliken Luxury Vinyl Tile.
The Finished Results
Our team at Hodge Floors is so happy with the finished results of these District 3 Schools. Each school feels so vibrant, colorful and ready for students to start scampering across the floors!
